TGZ:
Hail to you Dagwn! Please make us an
introduce of Nethescerial...
|

Dagwn: Hi... Nethescerial was formed
in March of 2002 from Draco Caelestis-vocals,
R'lieh-keyboards, NOCTUARY-guitars, and VORADOR-bass.
After many changes on the drumming section,
we recorded a 3-track promo which is unreleased,
in December 2003. In June of 2004, NETHESCERIAL
played support to MORTUARY DRAPE. After all
these the band started to seek for another
guitar player. Then, I joined the band (lead,
rhythm guitar & backing vocals), and I
also took care the graphic section.
Our “live” actions is only two,
one in a greek death/black festival, and one
with Mortuary Drape. In December of 2005,
we started to record our first album, at Fragile
Studios. After 9 months, we finished our album,
and we started to send promos to labels and
magazines. The current line-up is : Draco
Caelestis-vocals, Dagwn-all guitars/backing
vocals, R'lieh-keyboards, VORADOR-bass, Yngve-drums.

TGZ:
First of all, congratulations for your promo!
It sounds realy majestic and... black! How
do you feel that this work is selected as
Demo of the Month on the Greek Metal Hammer?
|
Dagwn: Thanks. I’m glad that
you liked our music. I thing that it was a
great step for us to be “Demo of the
month” to the Greek Metal Hammer. Maybe
a contract with a label, will be more easy
now… Also we are “Demo of the
first 3months of the year” in the French
Metallian.
|
TGZ:
Well, can you tell me some informations
about the recordings of your first album?
Are you satisfied from the result? What’s
the best and the worst parts in your music
according to you?
|

Dagwn: The recordings as I said took
apart at the Fragile Studios, with Vangelis
Yalamas and Nethescerial as the producers.
We were 9 months in the studio and it was
very difficult I have to say.
The result I think is very good, but there
will be always some changes that we would
like to do.
Best & worst parts?
If we had some serious bad parts, we would
change them immediately!
|
TGZ:
At this moment you haven’t any
label, but I thik that is very easy for you
to find a good deal! Which are your needs
as a band from a label? |
Dagwn: Until now, we haven’t
any proposion from a label. As a band we want
from a label, good promotion and our cd to
be in the music stores. We know that we won’t
make any money from our first record! All
we need is good promotion, that’s all.
|
TGZ:
Your music reminds me a mix of Limbonic Art,
Old Man’s Child and Rotting Christ.
What is your opinion about these three bands?
Which are your influences as band and as persons?
|

Dagwn: Personally, I like these bands
a lot.
Limbonic Art until their last record they
were great.
And their music, and their lyrics. From O.M.C
and R.C. , I prefer their first works.
As a band, I suppose we have some influences
from Limbonic Art, especially at the keyboards.
|
TGZ:
If you were asked to write a review for
“Elder Congregation” what would
you say? Why should the mettalers check you
out?
|
Dagwn: I let the others to “review”
our work!! I don’t want to do this for
my self. We know our abilities, but we keep
our opinion for ourselves. Now, why the mettalers
should check us out? I think that they will
enjoy our music. That’s all.
|
TGZ:
Can you make us a small journey to the lyricals
paths of Nethescerial?
|

Dagwn: The lyrics are written from our
keyboard player, R’Lieh, so I can’t
give you some serious informations, but I
can tell you that our lyrics have to do with
mythology, fantasy, space, and other un-natural
“things”…
|
TGZ:
What kind of feedback have you received
till now? What was the most flatering and
what the worst comment you have received?
|
Dagwn: Until now we have received only
positive feedback from anybody that heard
us all over the planet. I can’t remember
the most flattering, but I can tell you that
something that I didn’t like is that
someone like our music, production and other,
but his opinion is that we didn’t need
the keyboards! Anyway. It’s an opinion
and we have to accept it, but I have to say
that keyboards, is part of our music, even
some people like it or not.

TGZ:
You have make some live shows, but I
separate you live show with the “mighty”
Mortuary Drape in Athens! How was this experience?
Any unexpected fact from this night?
|
Dagwn: It was ok. Mortuary Drape was
nice guys before and after the concert. We
also played that night with the Greek band
Faceless God. Generally, it was a very good
concert, without any unexpected incident.
|
TGZ:
All the artwork and lay out of Nethescerial
are made it from you. Please give us more
infos about this occupation... Are you resume
and other bands for design?
|
Dagwn: That’s right. I made all
the graphics of Nethescerial, such as our
site. My occupation is graphic designer, so
it’s something easy for me. Of course
a lot of these I made them with R’Lieh,
so we can combine his lyrics and my art. At
this point we’d like to thanks Thodor
for his help. Of course I would like to design
for other bands. If anyone is interested,
he can contact me at bands e-mail.
|
TGZ:
If your music was a feeling, what kind
of feeling it would was?
|
Dagwn: Hibernation…
|
TGZ:
Which are your plans at this moment?
Any live concert or new release?
|
Dagwn: We are recording a new track to
put it in a split 7” LP with Black Winter,
also we made a new mastering at our track
“The Sun Hyperion”, to put it
in a 4way split 10” lp with Crossover,
Lord Impaler and Eternal Darkness. Also we
have a concert to give at 10/3 at Underworld
club, in Athens with Black Winter and Dark
Messiah.
|
TGZ:
What do you know for the South America
and especially for Brazil? Can you compare
the greek and brazilian scene? |
Dagwn: I know some bands there such as
Ceremonial Sacred and Krisiun,. I don’t
want to compare these two scenes.. I think
that we both have great bands.
|
TGZ:
Ok Dagwn! I hope that you enjoy this
interview! The last words are yours... |
Dagwn: Thanks a lot for the interview,
check us out, and we hope to give a concert
there…
