Xomaly is the return of Acheron. As
you were involved in your other project (Wolfeb
Society). Was there a reason for Acheron’s
return? |
Vincent: Xomaly was the MLP/MCD of material
we did to get Acheron back into the scene
.
Acheron had broke up in 1999 and i formed
Wolfen Society after that . But the demon
got restless and more blood ! So i invoked
Acheron once more . Now , it is a thriving
entity with a immortal life .
Acheron is back and it isn’t going away
! Our new album Rebirth : Metamorphosing into
Godhood is out soon on Black Lotus Records
!

You’re since a long time into Death/
Black metal scene, so did you get tour objectives
during this time? |
Vincent: : I’ve been a fan of Metal
for a long time. When i was younger, i was
into bands like Black Sabbath, Motorhead,
AC/DC , Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden
and Ozzy. Then the underground movement emerged
! The Legions of groups, such as Slayer, Venom
, Celtic Frost , Bathory , Mercyful Fate ,
Manowar, Destruction, and Infernal Majesty
grabbed my attention . From that Time , i
want to be a part of the scene. I learned
to play an instrument and started playing
in bands .

There’re lots of bands into satanism
just in a visual way, but you looks to be
serious in your creed and in what you preach
, as well as bands like Mercyful Fate etc...What’s
your opinion about bands that sell this “
evil image “ only for business ? |
Vincent: Hey , if that is what they like,
so be it. Not every band has to be “
the real thing “. Shock value and stage
antics are still fun to watch. But i want
to give people the real thing. I am a Satanist
and my music is the darkest part of my being.
And i think our fans who the difference between
what bands are fact and fantasy.

Black Sabbath , Celtic Frost and Mercyful
Fate are bands i read normally in your interviews
as being some of your fave bands . What’s
the importance of these bands in your life,
wich are the first bands you staited to listen
to and how was your underground introduction
? |
Vincent: : Black Sabbath, Venom and Mercyful
Fate had the biggest impact on me. The way
their music made me feel inspired me to get
into music. It was like watching a horror
movie or Satanic rite. A great feeling, indeed!

Xomaly brought some inovations, as clean voices,
female voices, etc...,Was it a natural occurence
or have you ever thought in bring these ideas
to Acheron sound ? |
Vincent: They were ideas i had for a
long time. But i could never find the right
people to work with. This MLP? MCD was an
experiment. It was a dark realese . I really
liked it , but the brutality was lacking .
So we decided to strip away the extra stuff
and go back to the basics. Now we are vocals,
Guitars , Bass and Drums !

Kyle from Incantation is keeping the
Acheron beats now. Jonh Mc Entee said you
‘re a friend since lomg time ago, when
you screamed for Incantation in some gigs.
How was play with’em ? You seems to
have many friends into america underground. |
Vincent: Yes, Kyle is a true hellion
brother. He’s also in Wolfen Society
with me. It was a great experience touring
with Incantation. I had a great time. Hell
I’ve know Jonh since early demos day.
Incantation is a killer band and i support
them 100%

7) The Black / death metal underground has
lots of great bands such as Sathanas , Absu,
Incantation, GBK, After Death.....Do you have
a huge underground crowd in USA ? |
Vincent: There are some really good bands,
but the scene isn’t really all that
big. It is an underground thing. People are
too busy being brainwashed with the MTV nu-metal.

Some idiots dare to call such craps like korn,
limp biskit etc...as “ Metal “
bands . What ‘s your opinion ? |
Vincent: They are not Metal. They are
another style. Hell, i actually like korn.
they have pretty heavy sound for a mainstream
bands.

You had the presence of David Vincent
and George Corpse grinder Fisher at “
Those Have Risen “ album. How was the
things with’em ? Are they good to work
with ? do you have plan to call some other
guys from other bands to work with you again

Vincent: They are both very cool guys.
It was great having them be a part of the
album. No Guest vocals on the new album, except
for a few parts of female vocals done by Brianna
Worman.

There’s a legend in Brazil that Paul
Ledney ( Profanatica ), went to an Acheron
gig in NY, bathed in blood ( we don’t
know if it was his blood ! ). Is it true ?

Vincent: We were doing that back in 1992!

Vincent: Acheron is very important, but
i also have a normal job. This type of music
doesn’t really pay the bills. Hobbies
? I’d have to say Women ! ( evil grim
)

I love read about serial killers , and
i got surprised when i read 90 % of all serial
killers came from the USA. what’s your
opinion about this phenomenom ? |
Vincent: No surprise at all. This country
is full of fucked up people. Hate and Death
is a normal thing here. The TV is your god.
Violence is their beliefs. And pain their
passion. Serial Killing is an American past
time.

those criticize the books of Anton La Vey
. Many never red even the first page of the
books !!!!!! ( Fear , Ignorance, Perhaps !
) . What do you think about it ? |
Vincent: Most people are sheep. Fuck
them! I could care less. I invoke the knowledge
i need. If they don’t, they will not
gain. survivial of the Fittest !
